I actually haven't read this one yet, though it's in a Wells collection I've got. Obviously I need to get to it.

Am now restraining myself from rereading because I'm looking at a big pile of Waiting To Be Reads - but it's sooooo easy to sucked into a reread (because I remember really liking this)! I do love a lot of Wells, and I've read all of his more famous scifi-ish stuff, but never tried any of his more romance-ish stories. Which I have to eventually to see if he's as annoying as he comes off in most of the biography type stuff I've read about him.

I've only read I think three now of his scifi books, and none of his other stuff. I hope it all holds up this well.

I've read The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds, Island of Dr Moreau. The Invisible Man and First Men in the Moon await.

I still haven't read War of the Worlds: that's my next one for him.
