Big Driver was partially set in a nearby town of Chicopee, which I thought was cool. I even liked the LIfetime movie. :)

Just to clarify: I didn't hate FD, NS at all! I liked it fine, but it did not inspire warm gooey feelings of love within me, as it seems to have done many others. Hence the 3 stars.
I think I need to be in the mood for The King. Life is getting shorter (not helped by having an almost 2 year old, which makes my reading time even shorter still) so my patience for his 13 pages about the backstory behind the tea kettle on the mantlepiece that adds nothing to the overall plot has worn thin.
And I can totally understand how Big Driver would scare the pants off some people ... Err, uhm. Maybe not the best metaphor...
