You are like my sci-fi evil twin or something, that almost exactly matches my list of "That can't be obscure, I know about it". Golden Witchbreed is one I read until the covers fell off when I was a teenager, I just am working through a massive Brust re-read right from the start, Stray is the only Höst book I have (it's not bad) and I already got Sorcerer to the Crown. Heh. Except I didn't read Moribito, and I adore Octavia Butler, because if our lists were actually identical that would be a bit creepy.

Only the one, although I recently remembered the series and got one or two more. Like so many other books, I haven't read them yet.
