Could be worse, they could have employees going around the book sites telling people they cannot read what they are reading because it's not by a diverse author and they must be an evil bigoted person ... seriously, one "publisher" tried that one (and a really stupid attack by them at that because the first time I saw the nasty comment was on someone reading a book they said was by an African American, reputedly gay, woman whose pseudonym was deliberately gender neutral on a book with a gay romance clearly detailed in the synopsis).

I like the synopses (without typos), reading lists and posts that make me want to read them when shared out on my book sites and social media. I'm not a big romance reader (kinda burnt out in my teens because mostly what I had available to me), but otherwise I'll happily read (or at least sample) more diverse authors. Half the time, I have no idea who an author is unless I'm such a fan already that I follow them n various sites where they post about it. That's one reason I love other reader's posts and lists so I can discover new favorites.
