I'm more interested in the LGBT+ Storybundle than this one at the moment, but it's still neat to be seeing all these bundles at once that actually have things I recognize. If I were better about reading comics on my computer, the Eisner Nominees bundle would be really tempting as well.
This Sekai Project bundle is going to involve a bit of research before I make a decision on it. The art styles for a lot of these have a very "cutesy stuff for fanboys" look to them, so I want to know how many of these are mostly fanservice vehicles and how many of them actually have decent stories.
Heh. Yeah, I'm fine with reading them on my computer, so it's semi-tempting.
I have to do more research into the visual novels. I'm thinking I won't go for it - I tend to prefer just reading, or want to read while something is on the TV, so those may not work for me. I also want to make sure I get all the storylines, so choose your own types can aggravate me, and then you said it was hours and hours worth of play for each visual novel.
I also thought most games via HB can only be played on PCs, and I don't have a PC.
I don't know how the others in the Sekai Project bundle work, but Fault - Milestone One is a perfect beginner's visual novel, in that it only involves one choice and that choice has zero effect on the overall story. Same with World End Economica (although the main character is an absolute jerk, so there's that). I went through maybe an hour of World End Economica a while back and encountered no choices. I can't say the same for the rest of the bundle, though, and it can definitely get frustrating trying to go through all the choice options on the more complex ones.
Ooh, and the lack of a PC is an issue too. Looks like Fault - Milestone is the only one you'd be able to play, and I still think it'd make you angry enough not to be worth it, despite things working out relatively positively at the end of part 1.
And I'd be into the LGBT+ one more, but I suspect the romance will be meh to me. I want to get back into romance reading, but it's all meh for me right now. Even my favorites, so...
