You're quite welcome, Samir. I've reported how Nietzsche views the matter, but I do not subscribe to his oversimplifying view. Nor do I think that Greek literature degenerated after Aeschylus and Sophocles. :) Nietzsche was a 19th century German romantic of a particularly extreme, anti-intellectual bent. I see his Apollonian/Dionysian dichotomy as an aspect of what the Chinese call yin/yang, and, like the Chinese, I view neither as preferable; on the contrary, both are necessary for a healthy and balanced culture/life/universe
. I dislike the extremes such as Plato's relegation of art as a way to keep the republic in order, as a means of propaganda and lulling of the public, etc.
