Also, I don't know if you saw my posts when I was reading The Secret Notebooks of Agatha Christie, but I must remind everyone that Christie's initial name for Mrs. Otterbourne was Mrs. Pooper.

I'm actually looking forward to jotting down my thoughts on this book. I re-read the first chapter this morning and have so many thoughts that I didn't have on the previous reads.

I really net to start and get cracking on this, too -- I actually can't wait to get back to "the original", after recently having read Agatha's watered-down stage version.

I did notice the familiarity between the two boarding sequences - but it's so much better in the novel.

There's really no comparison. SO much more nuance and depth -- to the characters, the narrative; really *every*thing.
