Watching her on tv effects me the same way - I was all "yay Malala" during the whole thing. And every time he got her to laugh I thought "oh someday he's going to be able to tell his children that he made Malala laugh." (That he said at one point how much he enjoyed making her laugh makes me think he had thoughts along those lines too.)

Do you think she will win the Nobel Peace Prize? She's certainly more deserving of it than Obama. LOL.

I think Obama would agree with you! Actually I can't think of anyone who wouldn't think she'd be a great Nobel honoree. She gave a really good speech to the UN too - I think it's on YouTube.

Yep, I've seen it! I wouldn't mind any of the people in that article winning EXCEPT for Putin. That would be a joke.
Right now, I'm leaning towards Denis Mukwege after reading that blurb about him. I'll be researching more about his cause.

Some people say that the Nobel Peace Prize has become a joke but I don't agree. Despite some controversial winners it does a great job of highlighting the people who are working hard to help others. Even if they are only nominated it spreads their words.

She is an inspiration. I watched the interview and was incredibly moved.

That whole episode of the Daily Show is especially good, I think.

Absolutely. :) I'm a huge fan of the show. And I also love the Colbert Report.

Yep, they are both really entertaining but once in a while there is an episode that makes me realize what a great job they're doing. This is one of those.

There should be a list of episodes that had the most impact... that would be interesting to think about.
