Thank you, but no, because no offense....but fuck Amazon.

Or use amazon to get other sites you do like to price match.

Nope, not giving them the traffic.

If it makes you feel better I brought over $100 worth books from my local indie in the last week. I love Joseph Fox.

It does, I try not to get too preachy about it, but before I worked for an indie I'd worked for Amazon and it was terrible. I won't give them a cent if I can help it.

You weren't. I buy kindle books because I have a kindle (which does make my life easier and I usually wait for a book to go on sale) but for real books, I usually go to indie bookstores or used bookstores. (If I really want a physical book, I put in the amazon cart, and wait a bit. If I still want them, I then go get it for an Indie. It's helpful that my local indie has an order online and pick up in store.)

Some indie book stores get a cut of kobo ebook sales.

Not my locals.

Took me a bit to remember, but I think this is the link to find out if your local indie is part of kobo program: https://www.kobo.com/indie

(Nope, I don't work for kobo or anything but except for exclusives, gift cards, or settlement money I avoid amazon myself. And even with a gift card or settlement, I try to do it via an affiliate link benefiting one of the charities, booklikes back when the link worked, or fictfact so at least something I care about gets something out of it.)

I'm the same with the affiliate links.
