Wow. Every three hours. I didn't realize there were that many.

I think I'm familiar with all of those; probably because of the Brother Cadfael mysteries!

I've run across them before, of course, but the list is helpful.

What happens when dawn comes after 6am?

Good question. I read another book recently, where they made adjustments for that, which made the daylight hours very prayer-full.
