this is NOT a useless sentimental blog!! I know many GR members (including myself) face the same dilemma. I just hope GR restores its peaceful environment once again.
I don't know what the future of GR holds, but I doubt it will return to its former grace. :(

I hear you, Samir. I hate Amazon when I think about what they did to our special place.
I still have a strong connection to GR-I guess we all do. I get so excited when someone from GR posts here. But that said, I'm finding much to like here and many former goodreaders seem to agree. I check in there less and less - but I was more than a little obsessed. Geez, that rhymes. I'm packing light (I'm not transferring all my reviews) but I'm ready for something different.
