I got it when they were packaging both stories together and it was an interesting read to do one after another. I love Scalzi and I love that his stuff is read by Wil Wheaton (especially Red Shirts, because I love the irony of the whole situation).
I've followed Scalzi on twitter for a while, but this is the first of his books that I've read. It definitely won't be the last.
