I'm reading it right now. I do live Dorothy's story best. I live how each chapter begins with something found between the pages of a book. I've always imagined working in a library/book store would be so much fun, especially finding the items people leave behind of themselves.
I love finding things in the pages that other readers have used as bookmarks. There's a secondhand shop near here where they must not check the books that are donated to them and just put them straight on the shelves. Nearly all of the books I buy from them has something in the pages.
Or maybe it's the lady that runs the shop that puts the stuff in to give her book customers a surprise! :D
Ha. I do too. Back when I went to the library a lot, I used to find clever things to put in books for other readers to find. Mostly a cute bookmark or a nice note. I've yet to find anything interesting in any of the used books I've purchased or library books. I'd like to have Roberta's job though.
