I read Shatter me and enjoyed it too. I have not wanted to continue after hearing what you said above from many friends. Time is way too precious :D

I enjoyed it but haven't really felt the need to pick up the next one yet. The crossed out writing annoyed the heck out of me.

The same thing happened to me: I gave up on this series after this volume.
