I loved Edward Norton in his role. Wasn't as big of a fan of Helena Bonham Carter (the book version had me thinking of a younger blonde chick for some reason), but she does play crazy well.

I liked them both, but the movie was adapted in a way that some of the book ramblings were sped up, which might be why more people like it better.
