Yep, the non-African human population would seem to have anywhere from 1%-4% neanderthal genes.

Yes and a Neanderthal skull was just discovered in an Israeli cave that proves Neanderthals and man were together at the same time.

Interesting. I'd not heard about any of this!
I hadn't heard of the recent find nospin mentions, but there's pretty much no argument at this point that Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal people lived alongside one another.

I'd not heard about the DNA and the skull. I had heard they lived alongside or at least passed each other on their timelines. All very interesting.
