A Reluctant Widow is wonderful. They even made it into a film, decades ago.
I've read it fairly recently and was amused. Gothic tropes played for laughs.
Glad I read your comment, Jenny. I'm getting ready to buy both Heyer's. I've heard great things about Heyer. Have never read her books.
I hope you enjoy her books as much as I do. "The Unknown Ajax" might be my favourite -- it's a tough decision :)
