Yeah, getting Sims 2 to work on this computer the way I want it to would take a lot of time (I mean A LOT - I play mod-and-CC-heavy if I play - and I am of two minds about actually doing it), I don't have Sims 3, don't *want* Sims 4.

Am hoping some other game company jumps into the life sim genre, because The Sims is suffering from lack of competition. It happened with city builders, so I'm not without hope.

I take out my angst about The Sims by invading the Ottoman Empire or casting Magic Missile. Or running a tropical dictatorship.

Been a gamer since the 1970s. My first video games were Pong, Space Invaders, Centipede, and Pac Man. (Also did D&D before a computer RPG was dreamed of.)

My 12-year-old has been saying "marine biologist, lego designer, or soccer player" for years. Now his answer is "architect".
A good rough guide to how good a university's architecture school is, is how ugly the architecture building(s) are. (So says my stepfather the architect!)
