I thought to myself: Hey! Elizabeth Fama! Isn't that the author who wrote that mermaid book? And yep, hehe. I started reading Monstrous Beauty and got bored. I'm also not a fan of letter-based stories. I just read one 2 days ago that was beyond dreadful.
You definitely might find this short story boring, then. The only thing that kept me from feeling it was boring was the writing was supremely beautiful. I'm coming to find that I prefer writing over plot.
Me too. I would forgive a great deal if the writing is beautiful.
Well...to a certain extent. I can't be completely blind, after all, but I would be certainly more forgiving.
