Yes it is, which is why I avoided it like crazy when I saw it on NetGalley.
See that's interesting because when I heard about their YA novel it was supposed to involve greek mythology. I thought it was a Percy Jackson rip off.
I'm so sorry that you had to go through this book - I saw it was by Christina Lauren and ran as far away from it as I could, but I didn't realize that was the whole point to this work. Ugh.
No worries. It didn't trigger me, but it did really upset some close friends. Which is why how it was brought to my attention in the first place. Just so gross.
