Did you report the first task of the door 3. if you did so why is it not showing up on your master update task post? in the card part, or your list part
No, I didn't report it yet. I'll do so after the race has taken place and DP has reported back the results. (Also, I want to wait until the full Melbourne Cup Day post with all the other tasks is published.)
okay, makes sense. I was just wondering as you do have added the point to your total but not to your card. Should not DOOR 3: MELBOURNE CUP DAY be opened after the results are in for the race? which would be Novemeber 5th (Tomorrow) if I am correct.
It will be opened tomorrow, yes. Probably after DP has reported the results of the race -- we're not in the same time zone, but she is ahead of me, so it's likely she'll post before me (I'll be doing the "regular" Melbourne Cup Day post).
Yes -- she's in the right time zone to be able to watch the race unfold "live" and report on the result immediately afterwards, so we asked her to do the separate "pick your ponies" post that MbD normally does, and DP kindly agreed (and did a fabulous job). I'll be doing the main post, with the calendar at the top, all five tasks listed the same way as on the other holidays, and the privious holidays' tasks at the bottom of the post (behind the "read more" button).
Looking good! I like how you're organizing your updates. I usually do my tracking in Excel, because it's easier, but it doesn't copy/paste well into BL, so I'm monkeying with a Word format that might do better.
Thank you! :) This is the format I adopted last year -- I basically just deleted last year's contents but kept the bare bones and added a few new decorative baubles and ribbons. The lazy person's take on "never change a winning -- approach" ...
