I agreed with the narration. I think she was spot on for very thing but the male voices but so many narrators can't nail the opposite sex voices to my liking so I'm not as harsh on judging them as I was when I first started listening to audio books.
I think, too, it takes a book or two to get used to a narrator's voice and style. So while I may judge harder in the first book, by book 2, 3 or 4, I'm loving it because I've grown used to it.
That's true too. I've had a few series that took me til book 2 or even 3 to really enjoy the narration. Some I've loved within a few chapters. That awesome when it happens.
