I, too, had some of the same questions and felt that I needed MORE of an explanation. I didn't love this book but I didn't hate it either. Sadly, I chose not to venture further into The Glass Magician. I might be persuaded if a really great review pops about. Good luck w/the next chapters.

I should probably read it. NetGalley was kind enuff to approve both books so I feel I owe them the review. Besides, I'm so incredibly OCD that not finishing something I've started makes me crazy. I try not to get into too many series books for that reason. Even if a series is horrid, I feel compelled to finish. I did like The Paper Magician and after seeing your review I decided to read Glass. Besides, rather curious about how things were left between Ceony and Thane. :)
