I'm definitely going to have to read Jasper Fforde. I was put off by the way some of his books are marketed in the UK but this sounds intriguing.

I have read the two first books in the series (my sister has them) but they seem to be jinxed. Book 2 disappeared, so my sister bought it again, and now it seems book 2 is gone this time around as well. Oh, and I loved them. So funny and imaginative. I love that world.
