I also loved Sir Patrick Stewart's narration on this. It's the only audiobook that I haven't fallen asleep on.

Sorry to hear that. I don’t know the audiobook, but I have seen a number of movie/play adaptions, and I have to say, I still love the book the most.

If you like the book, give this audio a try, too. It's based on Patrick Stewart's one man show stage performance of the novella, with which (much like Dickens himself) he toured to great success before it was recorded in this audio. He later also went on to play Scrooge in a TV adaptation of the book (which is great in its own right).

Oh, that sounds awesome! The TV adaption starring Patrick Stewart is not my personal favorite (I still prefer the 1984 TV adaption starring George C. Scott as Scrooge), but I do adore his voice. I was planning on re-reading A Christmas Carol anyway during the next weeks, but I might as well give the audiobook a try this year. Thanks!
