An odd list this year. "SNAP" should never have been there. I couldn't finish "The Water Cure". "Normal People" looks good (apart from some distracting punctuation) but I haven't finished it yet. My wife liked "The Milkman" but found it a very sad book about enforced conformity. None of the rest are books I'd choose to spend time or money on. Still, I'm probably not the target audience. It makes me wonder who the target audience is.
Not an artsy books reader but do try to know what's the fuzz about. I have read none of these books but I usually pick up a few just to keep updated on what is considered good in the literary field.
