Yes it damn well is. I got so absorbed I was set to finish it the same day I started, but then life intruded on my evening, so next morning it was. I did not expect it to grab me as it did, or to cry so unabashedly.

It's one of those books that leave me completely speechless. I recently reread it for Hallowe'en Bingo, and I was still groping for words -- and gasping for air -- by the time I sat down to write what turned out to be a rather short review a few days later.
