This review makes me hopeful. I've started Rebecca so many times and have never been able to get into it, even though it's been recommended to me several times. With any other book, it would have been off the TBR shelf for good a long time ago. But I definitely trust your opinion, especially since we experienced the debacle of Heathcliff/Wuthering Heights together. (Just thinking about it...augh.) At some point, when the atmosphere is right, I need to try Rebecca again.

I think you'd like it! I admit it starts out slow, but it's sooo worth getting into. I've been telling everyone to read it.
