The car on Supernatural has been named the Metallicar, thus the fact that Jensen Ackles reminds me of that. (I've yet to find Dean/Metallicar fanfic, though. Sadness!)

And the Metallicar I'm thinking of, the one Jensen's other character loves? Definitely does not predate the Transformers concept :P

Ah, okay. I'm just confused because they mention that they've come to rely on her being a hub, and can't anymore. There were some flashback scenes, including ones of her in the hospital, but I thought that was right after she got paralyzed.
