Yikes! That is so wrong. :/

Somebody's going to get wise to it. I smell lawsuit. Or the threat of a lawsuit at the very least...really doubt this person had permission to do this. What's worse is trying to make money from it, too. Not cool at all!
The one review mentions that it doesn't seem like Marvel put it out because of DC references.

More telling? Marvel would have their logo across the cover of this book. It does not. Add to that? Most of the prose novels aren't available as e-books and have lovely faux leather covers, with dust jackets, all of which have black backgrounds and an iconic image in the center, not full pictures like this.

I also sampled. It's not up to the standards of Marvel's prose novels.

Agreed... the cover doesn't even look great. I can barely read the text looking at the thumbnail.
It just upsets me that they're selling fan fiction. From the looks of the review, they don't even get the character history right -_-

Alright, gonna get myself to the hospital to go visit my mom. I did finally pick up a book I'd been looking forward to with my GC so that should keep me busy.

Did anyone report it to Marvel? Email the link to infringements@marvel.com (https://marvel.com/help/category/11/topic/29 )? Give feedback to Amazon and flag elsewhere found?
I didn't do that, but I did report it to Amazon. I'll report to Marvel as well.

Of course I did, too. And emailed Marvel. And commented on goodreads. And told Bowkers because the createspace edition has an ISBN number.

I'm kinda nasty about copyright and plagiarism issues. I mean, of course, I don't report fanfiction for being fanfiction on fanfiction sites -- that's fanfiction.
But this seems really gutsy - to have fan fiction being sold like this -_-

Yup, not even under some authorized by copyrightholder "Kindle Worlds" thing.
I know. Hell, if Marvel and IDW/Hasbro/Transformers did this? I would read the crap out of those things.

I refuse to buy and support this, though.

And they can't do it under Kindle Worlds/authorized by. Marvel publishes themselves, and he'd have to go directly through them. And he's unknown so they wouldn't hire him. They hire people who've done media tie-ins or written for comics before.
