I want to read the Coates book so much, just hoping for the library to get it. I have Monuments Men on the TBR, but never seem in the right mood to read it (I have seen the movie and thought it was good, but I'm a big Clooney and Pitt fan).
Heh. I haven't seen the movie, so I wouldn't know! There's a paperback version for six bucks or so at B&N on clearance. At least at my B&N. But I'd be willing to send you my copy when I'm done. If it's domestic and not insanely expensive.
Indeed... why? And here's the thing (I'll try not to go all ranty on this but it drives me nuts, truly): I order stuff from iHerb all the time - really heavy stuff like 24 Clif bars and laundry detergent. I've hit almost 15 pounds before - and I've never paid more than about 12 bucks to have it all shipped here, via DHL, in less than 5 days. From the US to AU. But Amazon wants to charge me 11 bucks for one book and the US Post... ::snort::
Of those three entities, iHerb would be the smallest in terms of volume, yet they are far and away the cheapest. Illogical.
Why, PO, why?
