That would be very awesome. I definitely would love to see a stop put to the Shelby tangent, because, as I'd mentioned, it just doesn't seem to do anything for the book in general, but provide a cliched "Mean Girl" plot--those of which I've never really been fond of.

I'm still planning on finishing the series, though, if only because they're so fast-paced and gritty that I'm really enjoying them so far!

I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say I'm glad you're sticking with them, and I hope you continue to enjoy the series - I think you'll be pleased. She has a new Nichelle coming out sometime before the end of the year (last I heard) and a first in a brand new series coming out soon too. I'm going to have to re-read the last one before the next one comes out to refresh my memory, come to think of it. :D
