Her best books are, IMO, the Lady Julia Grey series. I also enjoyed her companion to City of Jasmine - A Spear of Summer Grass - which is set in Kenya and is loosely similar to the life of Isak Dineson (the woman immortalized by Meryl Streep in Out of Africa). I preferred A Spear of Summer Grass to City of Jasmine. Her vampire book is totally forgettable & I don't recommend it at all. It's called something like The Dark Travels Fast.
