For a second my brain registered the name Dan Akroyd and I thought, DA wrote books? Yeah, it's been that kind of day. :)

What did you think of Foucault's Pendulum. LL loves it and has been pestering me to read Eco, but I'll admit to being apprehensive in tackling his books. This sounds neat but on the same level. Also, Peter Ackroyd and I are not on good terms as his Albion book is killing me.

Loved Foucault's Pendulum - a highly claustrophobic conspiracy read where I could barely breathe at some points. The re-read was not a good idea though.

I might have to move it up. LL's been trying to get me to read...the monk one. I can't think of the name...Name of the Rose! Since I like mysteries so much, he thought that might be a better place to start. Truthfully though, I'm more interested in Foucault's Pendulum then the mystery.

Name of the Rose is sublime. Foucaults is more shivery
