The first ep of the series was unintelligible. Mumble, mumble, mumble. Do they not teach enunciation at RADA anymore?

YES!! You nailed it.

It doesn't matter so much for those of us who read the book yet my heart goes out to those who are only diving in via this tv medium. Luckily, there is not so much confusion after this first episode.

I don't have cable but I have the DVD of this pre-ordered for its release in August and I CAN"T WAIT. Strange/Norrell is one of my all time favorite books.

The first episode is vocally blurred but after that?..... stunning! Truly recommended and I wish you joy of it!
