There is a film version with Richard Burton??!! Wow.

Made in 1952. Burton was nominated for an Oscar.

Rachel, one of my favs of Du Maurier. The movie was phenomenal.

I know, that's what so intriguing about Du Maurier! So subtle it could go either way. From the book I think she did.

I don't think I've ever seen the film, but I liked the book a lot.
