This book grabbed my attention and never let go. It's intense and often repulsive but unforgettable.

Definitely unforgettable. Some of the images Süskind has used will be stuck forever in my mind.

I'm liking this without reading it too closely because I do plan on reading it. (I don't like to know too much going in.) I'm glad you enjoyed it though, because that bodes well for me. :)

I have a feeling that you'll find it intriguing, Char. I really liked the weirdness of the story. And as Lillelara says, the descriptions are something else.

I have a feeling I'll find it intriguing as well. It's been recommended to me a number of times and I believe I purchased it last Christmas. Now I just need to stop requesting books from Net Galley so I can have the time to read it. :)
