Yeah, I hope so too. And I think the phrenology might not be the main plot point of this novel. So why does the author do that.

Btw, I saw that you have started "The Broken Girls" by Simone St. James. I hope you will enjoy it :)

It's really good so far, even tho the setting is not one that usually appeals to me. I'll keep the book as my audiobook while working from home this week. :)

What other issues do you suspect in The Corset.?

Well, I´m not sure yet. But I think the main focus of the story might be the life of the murderess, Ruth, and what has led to her being in prison. And there is something about a corset, which has a symbolic value for her. Tbh, I find her much more compelling than the other main character, Dorothy.
