Where's the mini of this mini review? P.S. I'm on page 50 of this because procrastination wins!

Dude! It posted before I even started writing! Grrr. I don't even know how I hit the button. Technology and I are not BFF's.

I'm going slow with this book mostly because I feel like I'm missing all the meta references and that I don't have the tools to dig into all the layers. Also, because the story. I need time to digest it.

It is a lot to digest. There is stuff that's physically painful to read. Mostly because it happens so casually or is referred to so matter of factly. And then you also have to work around all the metaphors and symbolism.

There's that (symbolism & metaphors) and for me it's the cultural stuff too. So much of it is foreign to me.
