Bwahahaha, I love the gif choice: Dan disapproves of Dan! And... it's sad, but I began to expect this a couple of months before the book came out. And it does seem to me that King has been moving away from horror in subtle increments for years now and, only because he released a sequel to what is arguably his most horrific book ever, is it becoming irritatingly evident, sighs. In other words: a shame, but not wholly unexpected for me. :/
He really has been drifting away from horror, and it doesn't bother me except that 1) his books are always advertised that way, whether they're horror or not and 2) this book was clearly supposed to be a horror novel and it fizzled. Go do another genre, by all means, Steve, but don't let your publisher call it horror.
