I love the idea of a publisher reprinting old, out-of-print books that aren't necessarily the sort of classic fiction that is taught in class. I inherited a small box of late 1940's books that had belonged to my grandmother and was surprised at how little information is available about them. They were just popular fiction of the time, not great works of literature, but it does seem sad that this little bit of history seems to be just disappearing, even with all the obscure information easily available on the internet.
I actually haven't read them yet. They've been on my TBR and I've been thinking about how to work them into my reading schedule. Three immediately caught my interest though. Two because I recognized the authors - The Scarf by Robert Bloch and The King's General by Daphne du Maurier. The other because it is one of those wonderful movie tie-ins with photos - Adventure by Clyde Brion Davis.
