Agree, great covers. I'll be interested to hear what you think! It was a fast read, and I think I'll grab the next.

The cover attracted me to this one a while back, although I have yet to read it.

For some reason, it ended up in an All About Romance worst cover competition: http://www.covercafe.com/contest/2011/WO-res11.html

It's Dan Dos Santos. He's brilliant--also did the iconic Dresden pic, plus some Sanderson covers, plus a ton of fantasy and UF. I always end up wanting to read the books he creates covers for. He is also the artist for the Mercy Thompson series (groan...great art, but seriously oversexed) and the Alpha&Omega books.

I'm not a huge zombie fan but the premise is interesting. May have to give it a go.
books--it was surprisingly engaging. I expected a fluff read, but I really enjoyed it.

Cool. I'm challenging myself to read outside my normal comfort zone and this may be the perfect next edition. Thanks for peaking my interest.

I don't like zombies, but your review is tempting.
Thanks, Olga! With such a trope-ridden set up, I thought Rowland did a lovely job of humanizing and writing. It went fast for me.
