I have been saying goodreads refugees (g.r. acronym works) because that's what LibraryThing has always called us. BUT I really prefer the sound of "Escapees" -- sounds more like the lunatics are running the asylum with our crazy, dangerous opinions -- and less open to being belittling of real world political refugees.
