Thank you! I thought that would be a little used tag but I've encountered so many new children's and Middle Grade books that have surprised me. And yes, it was the first thought as I gazed at the pictures.
Looks like maybe last year. And I know. I think it might have something to do with they can be drawn quite cute, they're small so you can imagine them there but not noticed, and maybe because it's been done before and it's one of the first animals to come to mind. It was a bit different though, as the mouse really does it on his own and Lindbergh comes afterwards.
I know, isn't it? Most of the book is made up of lovely full pages which tell the story quite well. The text is nice but in many cases it's not necessary.
ETA: What's with children's books, historical personalities, and mice? I can think of several examples. LOL
