I wish I could participate in things like this, but I'm too much of a mood reader.

Until goodreads started making shelves hard to find where the game started adding other categories--wasn't that hard to find something in the mood for. Hunting for covers could make me too cranky to be in the mood for anything; I've learned to wait and see what other people pick I might be in mood for (this time, just lucked into library waitlist). I keep my ereaders set to list instead of cover mode (plus they are gray eink covers if I do show); I seldom pay attention to covers. Game moderators the first round with covers were too picky about cover colors so I dropped out a few rounds; now they've relaxed.

I never mind personal challenges; if I lose interest I just stop. Took me a while to join a team challenge like this one; I do sweat letting down team members. But, for some odd reason, this particular one works for me, I enjoy, and it motivates me to dust off the TBR pile. I think because the shelf call jogs my memory that "hey, I know I have something ..." And the teams make for a nice dose of socializing. A well moderated, very active group without assholes.
