Is that what I think it sounds like? A robot addicted to TV?

It makes more sense when you read the book imo.

It's not very social and gets stressed out if people try to treat it like a person...

Um... doesn't having feelings make it less a robot?

Well, I hope the robot has a better selection of TV programmes than what the rest of us have.

It's not exactly a robot; it's a cyborg. And it gets stressed out by social interactions, basically.

All right! All right! Now look what you've done. Another book added to the "Mountain of Unread Books". ;)

I was just trying to explain... ;)
Right. It's an introvert.

Me, too. LOL, much of what it (and murderbot does refer to itself as "it") seems to know of human emotions/reactions seems extrapolated from the tv shows. It's just all weirdly wonderful to read.
I want the sequels. Are they out yet?

You mean the novel, Grim? I think it's out in May.

Looks like May 8, Aug 7, Oct 2.

So they're selling a novella for $11 when the first was $4?? Ugh. (Referring to the Canadian prices on Kobo)

Liking without reading too closely. :)
