I downloaded The Paper Magician. Just because it was fantasy genre; no clue when I will get to and sounded like could be a bit young for me. I'm positive I'm not interested in Romantic Suspense or Mystery and I'm not in the mood for Historical Fiction.
Honestly, I'm kinda proud of myself for remembering to check them out this month. I usually forget until end of month. Thankfully I had calendar crap boldly circled or otherwise standing out or annoying me so I would forget about Fandomfest ...
I picked A Cold and Broken Hallelujah, because it's a lyric from my favorite song, which I took as a sign even though I don't read a lot of mysteries anymore. I almost always get one of the Kindle Firsts, because, hey, free book!, but often they languish unread in my TBR queue.
I'd feel guiltier about the languishing on my TBR (knowing the program is intended to generate amazon reviews a month before public release) — except I no longer review on amazon.
I do try to remember to sort of advertise for 'em anyway.
