As good as the original trilogy?

Oh yeah. And if we never see another one, it's the perfect ending.

According to a March 2015 interview with Esquire Tom Hardy's attached to FOUR further movies (four?! if they all get released that'll make the series NINE movies long!).

Sorry, make that eight! Maths is not my strong point.
I am so in the minority on this movie...

Wasn't that impressed to be honest. My sister and I spent a long time talking about what we felt they got right and what we felt they got wrong.

My only complaint was the nonsensical surgical procedure done toward the end of the movie. But when compared to the rest of the series, it is as good if not better. Certainly better than THUNDERDOME, which I feel was the weakest link in the chain.
I'm not sure I've even seen all the original films.

Ah, I thought it was a bit disjointed. I actually, and I'm not sure how this happened, found myself getting bored.

Oh, also, Michael Bay called. He wants his explosions back.

Can I get an amen on the fact that Charlize Theron is a bad-ass in this movie? I have a new girl crush.

Maybe because he couldn't manage the accent (he's British)?
