Oh, this book sounds pretty interesting. It reminds me a little of a middle grade series I read around a year or two ago called Atherton by Patrick Carman--mostly in the floating city aspect.
Hi Sherri & Moriah, I apologize for the late response! My boys were on Spring Break last week so we've been out of town. I'm trying to play catch up now. : ) But thank you for your comments. You guys should definitely check this series out. I just love the setting & world building. I wouldn't buy the first novella though. There wasn't anything in it that wasn't already in Perfect Ruin. I haven't read the second novella yet so I'm not sure if it's worth it or not but I had bought it when I bought the first do I'm definitely going to go ahead and read it too.
Moriah, I haven't read Atherton yet but I'll have to check it out. I love unique settings! Thanks for the heads up!
Nice review. :)
