Buying the cheapest insurance sounds obviously good. But beware.

I'm with Axis Capital, Bermuda for both car and home/content insurance, and as with most insurance companies, they will give you a better deal if you combine the two (especially if you've been with them for a long time). So you might want to check out your car insurance company for a home insurance quote (if you have a car and if they provide home insurance).
